My family of three would like to come into Charlotte wot shop at th enew Ikea, from the Raleigh/Durham area and we'd like to make a weekend of it. Can anyone suggest a good, reasonable place to stay that would be near places of interest and convenient to Ikea?

If you wanna do something really special:

Concord Waterpark - Great Wolf Resorts - Indoor Water Park Resort

This would make your trip more like a family vacation!

I second the Great Wolf Resort but it can be on the expensive side. I think if you are bring kids though it is worth it!
