What are people paying yearly in Charlotte? Mine just came in at $525 for the year, up over $100 from last year. Has there been an accross the board increase?
Mine went up about $200-ish. I don't know the exact number...but it equated to about $20 per month. Granted, I had a claim last year for about $5k (not even a month and a half into owning the house!)...but they said it would likely only result in losing my 3% discount for no claims. I do know my original amount was only something like $560 per year. I never bothered to look into it...I figured it was because of my claim. But if this is like the state-wide car insurance hike, I'm gonna be a little ticked and consider shopping around.
