Would anyone be able to give a very rough estimate of an annual premium for home owners insurance in the Charlotte area? I realize there are tons of variables involved, but just a ballpark figure for a house between $250-$300K would be appreciated.

depending on your credit, area, etc., I'd say from $350-$900/year.

Ours was $480 for a $290k home in Huntersville through Metropolitan.
