The bf and I have Tues/Wed off and want to go somewhere. We were thinking of the beach but I don't think thats a good idea now. Any other ideas?? We could travel by car or the hd..TIA
Asheville.....If possible check back with the Observer in their Travel section on Sunday, March 29, 2009. It talked about the "galleries and eateries that dotted the industrial-chic River Arts District". I saved that page, and plan to go there for my birthday in June. Wanted to check out the 'que shack that is famous...."12 Bones Smokehouse that earned top honors in "Good Morning America's" "Best Bites"competition a while back". Also, I wanted to see the "the not so pretty warehouses" that line the streets to the French Broad River....that house the artist....and their works.
