Well, good grief. Why is the good Judge being a horse's arse about it? He knew when he ran he would have to abide by the code. Perhaps getting revenge was not really worth giving up the income once he has to resign f/ those positions.

The divorce may be one reason ... but his name had more to do with winning the election ... BELK ... Belk Dept Stores since 1888 when ole Willam Henry open his first store in Monroe, Uncle John Belk Freeway ... Uncle John former mayor of Charlotte ... and money!

Judge Belk's ex is probably sipping drinks with little umbrellas in them on some tropical beach!
