Its called "Time Heals". This is kind of cool. I can't think of any previous TV shows set in Charlotte. I'm sure it will be filmed in LA. It will be interesting to see how they turn Crenshaw Blvd. into Central Ave, LOL.

Here are some press releases...

TNT picks up medical, cop dramas | Entertainment | Television | Reuters

TNT grows with two new series - Entertainment News, TV News, Media - Variety

cool...why Charlotte though? Seems a little arbitrary..I lived in San Jose when they chose to set the show "The Parenthood" after the movie in San Jose (not sure why). It lasted less thana season...Perhaps if they called it "Cops and Docs in the QC" it would sell better

Actually...this got me thinking...outside of NY, LA, Chicago, Seattle, SF, Boston and DC what are some strange cities where sitcoms have been set...I can think of the following without too much deep thought...

WKRP in Cincinnati - ???
Drew Carey - Cleveland
Dallas - ???
Golden Girls - Naples?
Las Vegas - ???

There was a show called Providence once too..which was probably set in Providence

I hate to burst Charlotte's bubble, but Chapel Hill was the set of a show starring Sherman Hemsley (George Jefferson) called "Goode Behavior". It only lasted one season, but it was on the air nearly 13 years ago. The Triangle beat us on this one LOL!!!

I wonder which hospital will be used for the outdoor image
Carolina Medical has tall white sterile image
Presbyterian has that classic brick exterior
