Wreaths here are typically not made w/ boxwoods. They are from the NC mountains and are a type of pine/fir. You may be able to get someone at a florist shop to do a boxwood wreath on a form, so I would start calling florists.
That sucks. A church in Chapel Hill used to make them and they were wonderful. Just wondering if someone here did the same thing. Guess we'll stick to the fake one on the front door. South facing house + black door=pine wreaths lasting about 2 days. ha.

Here's a thought for in the future, if you can fit a couple of boxwoods into your landscape you can wait until this time of year & then prune them back & make your own wreath or swag for the door. A friend of mine used to do that. It's easy to do a wreath & easier to do a swag.

I sure hope you find something that works! Now, if you don't mind driving to the mountains, I can tell you where to go there to get beautiful, fresh wreaths that last til Easter, LOL.
I remember seeing some at BlackLion last year, but they were not cheap!
I love the look. Have you seen the square boxwood wreaths at Bath & Body Works? I wonder where they got them.
Try a Chapel Hill Boy Scout from Troop 820, they sale wreaths every year and have the best boxwood, the wreaths are very reasonable a 16 inch boxwood wreath is $20.00 and come with a lovely red bow; they sale garland also. I believe the supplier is the supplier for the Biltmore house. You can place a standing order with a young scout and have him call you every year until he reaches Eagle and goes off to college.
