Safe parts of Charlotte (Gastonia, Mount Holly: low crime, chapel, homes)

What parts of charlotte have low crime, mostly white neighborhood, good schools, and a short commute time?

Ballantyne area /South Eastern part of town have all the things you're asking for.

The Price Mill subdivision in Wesley Chapel seems like it might be a good fit, too. Good family neighborhood.

any others? how is it right over the line? In rock hill, york, clover and fort mill? Is the crime really bad? I heard there are not a lot of cops?

WHat is the west of charlotte like-Gastonia? How about the north?

I wouldn't really recommend Gastonia, but there are some small towns between Charlotte and Gastonia that are nice - Mount Holly & Bemont are good and McAdenville (you may have heard of it - Christmastown USA) is being completely redone.

There are parts of Gastonia that are OK too - just totally depends on the price range of homes that you are looking for.
