While I am not from Mass or Maryland, I am a huge fan of crab cakes. Anyone with a great place to recommend for great crab cakes, please share!

While I'm sure someone will blast me for not being an authenticate crab cake lover (even though I lived in Boston and the seafood in and around the shore was awesome), I do like the Charleston Crab Cakes from Harris Teeter. Pretty spicy and tasty!

Although I have not been there, I have heard from a few colleagues that the Oceanaire Seafood Room has good ones.

The ones I got at Harris Teeter weren't too bad.

I'll have to give them a try. Thanks. Are they frozen, or do you get them at the seafood counter?

Nope not frozen, they're chilled at the seafood counter. Take home, a little olive oil, and about 5-6 minutes later (I like mine crunchy on the outside), a bit of tartar sauce, and you've got some good eatin!

When I crave crabcakes, The Palm gets my vote, and yes I have been to and enjoy the SouthPark eateries on a weekly basis.

Not to sound stupid... but I can really ruin things when I cook. It's a gift, I know. When you say 5-6 minutes later, are you talking about frying them? or baking them?

Thanks for the suggestions everyone!
