Does anyone have a clue when new boundaries for the NC 12th Congressional District will be finalized? I see a lot of speculation and predicted consequences, but no actual "map". Residents may need to be directed to new polling places as well (I would assume) if they are "reassigned".

NC congressional seats are not up for election this March 15th Primary, instead they will be on June 7th with no run offs.

District 12 is most of Mecklenburg.

Reseating congressional district will not have any effect on polling places as that is set by each county BOE.

Also be aware that a panel of federal judges are currently overlooking the new map proposed by the NCGA. If they don't like what they see, they might draw up a map themselves. We should find out very soon, though.
