Charlotte - The Huffington Post is reporting this afternoon that President Barack Obama will name Mayor Anthony Foxx as his next Secretary of the Department of Transportation,
The writers site unnamed sources familiar with the administration s planning and say. The decision is expected to come this week.
The Huffington Post reports that retiring current Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood is expected to continue serving until Foxx's confirmation.
This is the most insane thing I have read in a long time. There is nothing that qualifies Fox for this position. He couldn't even handle his own transportation issues in Charlotte. Does Obama plan to staff every position with incompetent, unsuccessful friends.
