I don't see the use in complaining about things that can't be helped. They have to fix it! It will only last a few days.

Exactly, the water line has to be fixed.
There detours can be made if needed to head into Charlotte or to Sam Furr and North to avoid this intersection.

West side can use Hwy 21 or Hwy 115 to head into Charlotte or area north.

East side can use McCoy to Beatties Ford to Charlotte.
Going North, use Ranson Rd to Stumptown which is route I usually take to avoid all those traffic lights and bottleneck at Stumptown and Hwy 21.

Ever since Sam Furr Rd (Hwy 73) has been widen getting around Huntersville is a breeze now.

Well, how stoic of you. Complaining is a way of venting frustrations, so there is use in it. I wasn't really complaining since I don't go to that area, I just have heard about the bad traffic up there from my coworker so it was more of a general comment.

Traffic really isn't that bad on Gilead and Reece. It's nothing like Sam Furr Rd. It's mostly a local road.

I originally had it other way but I thought about it and Hwy 21 and 115 downtown are on east side of hwy 77 ad McCoy rd Earth Fare is on the west side of 77
