Sounds Cool! Thanks! Im still looking into it. What towns outside of downtown Charlotte does anyone recommend? I like to be close to some cool bar chains as well.

You'd want to check out the Lake Norman area. Birkdale would probably suit you just fine

You sound like an outgoing person who gets along with everyone and has varied interests. I think you will do well no matter where you land. I see you mentioned Seattle. Not to knock Charlotte, but if the PNW is on your list, it's a no-brainier, especially for outdoor activities. Charlotte has wonderful access to as much of the outdoors as the East Coast can offer, but nothing compares to the PNW. People there are very cool as well. Not quite so professional and stuffy as here (not meaning that in a negative way at all ).

Good luck!

Right now id like to experience the Charlotte area or Nashville. Its down to those 2. I just cant stand south Florida to be honest. Yes some of the most stuffy people ive ever met. Lol. I know you will get it everywhere but I have been here only a few months and gave me the worst impression ever. Seattle may be in the future but for now im thinking Charlotte, Charleston, or Nashville. Im visiting Nashville soon so ill be able to get the feel for it. Then Charleston is close by and im gonna road trip up there soon after Nashville with my family from south florida to prospect that as well. I like open land here and there. which is something Florida lacks till you get to Central Florida which is somewhat not that great to live. Yeah you get the point. I want out bad haha.

Charlotte is a cool place to experience. People love to bring up that there are no jobs here. That is totally untrue. There is a huge shortage of workers in certain fields, ie.: welders, mechanics, electricians, air condition specialists, and other fields. I suppose when people think of jobs they consider white collar only. Washington state sucks. The weather is horrible and the people are not as friendly and hospitable as you will find around here. Outside of Seattle, they are pretty much in the dark.

Birkdale is off of exit 25, I#77. At that point head west towards Lake Norman. It is less than a mile. Great area. Exit #23 is the exit before #25 when leaving Charlotte. As Sunny mentioned, it is a good area as well with many several restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, bars, and hospital and growing.

Basically any exit off of #77 is descent.
