I have to agree, especially considering it is a chain.

Default Jim N' Nicks

Jim N' Nicks has really good BBQ and sometimes it is too much to drive by and smell it cooking. Not your typical Carolina BBQ but a welcome change.

Disagree with you guys... I can't find a entree I like there. They don't quality control the meat they serve. In example, I get ribs and some are fatty (more fat than meat). The pulled pork is known to be very similiar with pieces of fat sprinkled in. The Brisket is so-so.

The positives on the other hand...
The brunswick stew is what brings me back. Really good. Again, I wish I could enjoy something else to pair it with... And of course the biscuits.

Mac's is a way better BBQ place; they quality control the meats. Too bad the Steele Creek location has terrible parking or else I would go there more often.

May have to get up to Mac's to try.....usually don't go up that far on Tryon.

My favorites in the area:
BT's Burger Joint and Luigi's (Steak & Cheese sub yum!).
Jim N Nicks is good... I like the 1/4 chicken dinner best, but I agree that Mac's Speed Shop is amazing.

Anyone know when Buffalo Wild Wings is opening? The sign just says "Soon".
