Hi all, I've been searching through these forums, and know about Price's Chicken Coop, but where else can one find great fried chicken? The ONLY thing I miss about Fayetteville is the place (local chain) where we could get excellent fried chicken! I was trying to figure out if I need to go check on the empty house there, just so I could get some chicken!
Price's is the only place I've found mentioning fried chicken specifically (and K&W, I guess) but where else, we're in Indian Trial so anything closer than Price's would be worth looking at!
Thanks!

Love the fried chicken (and fried pork chops) at Down to the Bone, 7945 N Tryon St, Charlotte and the fried chicken at Maddi's Southern Bistro in Birkdale

There was a church's chicken on wilkenson blvd if your looking for a chain type resturant.
There is a place on sugar creek too, but i think it's called chicken box.

Default Fried Chicken options

Joan,

You might want to try out the Chicken Box on North Tryon St. out past 36th street. Their chicken in my opinion is as good as Price's Chicken coop. Try it and see what you think.

Thanks for the replies.
Doesn't help me any but DH is taking a course at UNCC 2 nights a week and they're nearby for him to try. I'm maybe going to Fayetteville Friday to check on my unsold house, and can go into my chicken place for lunch
