Hi I've been searching the charlotte forum for a few weeks and have found a lot of great information but nothing that is specific to my situation... hoping i can get some help from the kind ppl on this forum.
I am considering a job transfer that will be based out of Charlotte but will require routine travel to locations such as Roanoke, VA, Spatanburg, SC and Raleigh, NC. Schedule will change but say 1 day per week to these locations and 2 days per week in Charlotte. When working in Charlotte i will be north of the airport (near paw creek).
I have 3 boys ages 6 - 16 so i want to find a location that is family friendly. Also my 16 yr old is attending a vocational school so if the area has that option for high school it would be great. I would like to live within 45 minutes of the airport but also want to make sure i have good access to to my other locations (without spending a lot of time parked in rush hour traffic).
With all the traveling i will need to do does anyone have any recommendations or areas to avoid. I kind of like the idea of living in the Denver area but am open to any suggestions.
