Hopefully, they will go back to being good again.

I've read posts where people say their quality has gone downhill. I dont' eat there much but I like their food, and havent' really noticed a downturn in quality. Is there a specific occurence that caused it, or are you referring to a general lowering of standards?

When I first got here, I really liked the chicken. It seemed pretty spicy and crispy. Shortly after I moved here is when they were bought up and the quality just seemed to go downhill.

Whether something was changed by the company that purchased them or if it was just coincidental, I couldn't say. But I definitely noticed a difference.

Then I guess ignorance is bliss in my case. I've had a couple problems with orders, but overall their food is tasty to me.

Yeah, the chicken isn't as crisp as I remember it when I was growing up. Or maybe Charlotte's humidity is getting higher . Anyways, I have noticed an expanded menu over the last few years (more salads and that AWESOME grilled chicken sandwich). IMO, Bojangle's has the 3rd best fastfood grilled chicken in town. #1 and #2 goes to Wing Zone and Cookout.

I like Bojangles.
There food is really good.
You can buy a plate of four sides and a buscuit for less than 5 bucks.
There Cajun fillet buscuits are very good and I think there fries taste better than most fast foods.

I've gone to the one around the corner on two different occasions for dinner and they've been out of chicken. How can a chicken place be out of chicken. Both times they said they wouldn't have any until the next day.

I haven't noticed any decrease in quality from 5 years ago. If anything, the biscuits are slightly better.

I went to one several years ago and they were out of biscuits at 9 AM. I asked when they'd have more, assuming they had some in the oven, and was told they'd run out of flour the previous afternoon.

As you say, the sign says "chicken and biscuits" so they should never run out of either. Ordering for a fast food restaurant is just about automated. Besides, they should have been able to borrow some supplies from another location. I saw that frequently when I worked fast food a looooonnnggg time ago.
