Has anyone else noticed the hideous patch job they did on in-bound Independence Blvd. They have made a huge mess, and the road is now in worse condition than it was before they patched it.

It does look pretty crappy but I don't know that it is in worse condition than before. I don't remember it being too bad before, though.

Shoddy road patchwork has been a Charlotte tradition for many years. In most cases, it is so bad, it could knock a car out of alignment. I could name many areas where I simply gasp at how bad the patchwork was. Who should be held accountable? The CDoT, or the state, or the city for not recognizing this.

I can only imagine how hideous the latest Runnymede Lane patchwork will be when it is done tonight. Another huge bump in the road I am sure!

I rarely use Independence. Does anyone have a photo?

it's terrible. the road looked/felt fine to me, I travel that stretch daily. it's almost like the state brainstorms about new ways to s**t on eastside folks. it literally was the ONLY section of Independence that looked decent. inbound between briar creek and I-277...
