Can anyone tell me where the closest decent selection of stores/rests/fast food etc would be from Mtn Island Lake? I know the few they have there. But beyond that, what would be closest? Thinking of stores such as Lowes/Harris Teetter/Target/a real Walmart/CVS/normal fast food such as Chick-fil-A, Wendy's, etc/and some decent restaurants. I know Northlake Mall area is within 15 minute drive. Just wondering if there is anything closer than that.
There is Walmart Supercenter, Harris Teeter, Chick Fila, Mc Donalds, Wendys, Pizza Hut and some other shops & restaurants at intersection of Mount Holly Huntersville road and Hwy 16. There also a Sonic about five miles towards Mt. Holly.
Let's assume the entrance to Overlook neighborhood.
I did recall a few places at that intersection. I was thinking a Mcdonalds and an Arbys. Thanks for clarifying. But I wouldn't call that Walmart a 'Supercenter'!
Was wondering what the next closet concentration of businesses would be, that had a bit more selection. Particularly a Lowe's, Staples, Target, larger Walmart, more restaurants, etc.
It says Walmart 'Supercenter', but if you've been in it, you'll know better.
Mapquest shows a 22 minute drive to Denver, and only a 13 minute drive to Northlake Mall area. So it sounds like nothing closer than Northlake. Where we are now, it takes 5 minutes or less to get to all the stores I've mentioned. So we're used to the convenience. It's quick and easy if you need to run pick up something. Not a 30 minute round trip. I was just hoping there was something closer I had not seen yet. What's available in Mt Holly? That's just a touch closer than Northlake. Are most of the stores/rests. on the N/S/E/West side of town?
Anyone here who lives on Mtn Island Lake that can tell me where they normally go for fast food, rests., Lowe's, Staples, etc.? Other than stopping on the way home from work.
Thanks for the replies.

I've been in the store over 100 times.....specifically, what was it missing?
