We had a nice cold winter season.. A couple of snows ..and its not over, hopefully a few cold snaps to go. Looking forward to a nice warm spring and a not too hot summer. Makes the warm weather something to look forward to rather than something to dread.

well, jp, if you hang around, you might be happier going forward. Saw an extended weather outlook the other day from some scientists that predict that these kinds of cold winters will be the norm in the SE for the next 5 years at least!

Time to insulate these houses, guys! I, for one, am tired of being cold while I am at home!

That would be great!. We'll see.

But you gotta admit..these cold days and nights makes spring that much more rewarding. And just think of what this is doing to the red ant, mosquito and termite population..its pissing them off and thats a good thing.

Its a huge change from the mild, non-winters of most of the 2000s. It seems like there were always a few cold snaps but the weather was pretty mild most of the winter. This winter and last year bring back memories of how winter used to be back in the early 1990s.
