Our son is in 10th grade at LNHS and this is his second year there.
Apert from some problems last year with the school buses (it was turning up anywhere within a 25 minute time window over the winter- which was really cold) which was sorted fairly quickly we've not had any problems.
He came from a completely different system and the Math here is at a higher level, but he's done well and achieved good results.
Some of the things we were worried about were that people had said many of the kids wore designer clothes, drove designer cars and had designer manners to match!
I can't say we've really noticed that, and neither has our son who has a great group of friends who seem well grounded and are from all over the USA!
He goes off to school each day with a smile and comes home with one on most days.
We'd also heard drugs were widespread but apart from one incident we've not heard of anything else and there is a Sheriff there all the time.
I have to say that none of the bad reps came from people who had kids that attended the school.
He isn't into sports but has joined the French club and the FCCLA which seems to be very active.
