Please list your favourite ethnic restaurants and their location.
We're looking for new ones.
Also, which do you think are the most authentic?

Thanks!

I guess it really depends on what you class as ethnic?

Pho 98 on South Blvd - great Vietnamese (but do check the current health scores, they have had some problems since I last visited, which I do hope was just a glitch!)

La Unica in Indian Trail for really good Mexican - yum!

Thanks! Can't rep you again, yet, though. We now have a Pho 98 & I was wondering how the one in Charlotte is.

Yep, La Unica, also on Central Ave., is great!

The Dim Sum place right across the street from there is also good. I haven't eaten at other places in Saigon Square, but friends tell me the pho place is very good.

Pollo Royal for Colombian.

I don't know how authentic they are, but Ben Thanh & Lang Van both have YUMMY Vietnamese food.

Pho 98 closed almost two years ago. For good pho, try Pho Hoa on Central or Vietnam Grille on South. Lang Van for everything else Vietnamese. All of the La Unica locations are consistently good.

Monsoon is very good. Excellent. I also like Thai Taste on East Blvd. Bangkok Ocha on 51 is another good Thai spot.

Thank you!
We go to Thai Taste sometimes, but I always drive by Monsoon and have never been in.
What about Malaysian? Any suggestions for that?

That's easy! Cafe Malaya in Elizabeth. haven't been in a while but I'v eneve rbeen disappointed.

I've also heard good things about Meskerem. It's an Ethiopian restaurant on Kings Drive. I'm kind of intimidated to go because I have no idea what Ethiopian cuisine is like.

For Indian, I like Bombay Grill on 51.
