I don't know how this article got by me, but I have it now.

Construction is underway in the SC Tech Park on the new Advanced Tech learning center. The building is beautiful and will be a great addition to the park and its efforts to be a prime research location on the East Coast.

great news for our area, the chemical/research industry, and the state of WV.

Chris... you should read the article. It is primarily a building for community college courses, not for research. The research part of the article was directed at work being done in another building.

However there was this part:
The building will be versatile so it can house training for employers who may come to the region, he said.

Ct, you should read my post. The building will go great with the efforts by the park to be a prime research location. The school will be a training center for industrial related cources. I only said that its a great addition, and that it would fit well.

I think it will be a fine building. It just isn't a research building.

I'm pretty sure I read some place they're building another one like it in Clarksburg, but that was awhile ago.

no I said the park is trying to be a prime research location. The Tech center will only be a plus for companies wanting to establish themselves within the park.

Charleston Daily Mail | New Advanced Training Center focuses on state’s workforce of the future

Nice addition to the park, and will benefit the area in terms of training the workforce for future trades.
