The once Charleston House Holiday Inn turned into a Ramada in 2011. Now they plan on changing to a Sheraton in 2013, along with major renovations to both the inside and outside! It won't even look like the same building when completed.

I'm ecstatic about this for two reasons: 1) That place will no longer be an eyesore of a backdrop to Haddad and can finally enhance the aesthetics of the area, and 2) The plans for condos on the 12th floor mean more people living downtown!

Agree, and agree again!

That building has been the biggest eyesore to the city, and with the new look it will be one of the more appealing. Those condos are going to be nice, with great views.
