If you do a search at superpages.com (the online phone and yellowpages directories the phone companies put you in if you have a business phone anywhere in the country), for "consignment", there are 9 results including : The Exchange Factor,5128 Rivers Ave., N. Charleston (Exchangefactor.com) ; Factor 5, 283 Meeting St., Charleston, (843) 965-5559 ; Creative Ventures, 3609 Rivers Ave., N. Charleston (843) 559-6000 . Others were national ads without physical locations or not actually consignment shops. You might want to give those 3 a call and see if they have what you are looking for.

For future reference, if you are just looking for a list of a certain type of business in any town or city in the country, just go to Yellow Pages : Superpages Yellow Pages, Maps, Driving Directions, Weather... and search for what you want.

thanks for the info but I actually know about that and am a research queen. However, what I'm looking for are RECOMMENDATIONS for places to go. For instance if I'm in Miami I know which shops are the best. And if someone wants to go to Buenos Aires, I can give you recommendations for hte best places to eat shop etc because I lived there. so I'm looking for some of the parents on teh forum to make some suggestions.

From what I remember Factor 5 and the exchange factor are not for children. Teenagers, yes. So a phone book search would not help in this case.
