Yeah it's great there. What they had on tap was great. I want to go when there is a lot of people there at night and they fire up the barrels.

Homegrown Brewhouse was great, but I think they don't go through their beer fast enough. I just wonder about the age of the beer there. You can't beat their local selection, though.

Recently visited the Tradesman brewery and it wasn't bad.

I've filled a few growlers, including local beers at the Sunoco, believe it or not. They seem to have a great deal running: fill up 10 and the 11th is free. They mostly have macro beers and ciders on tap, and for quite a while as no one really is filling up there, but it certainly is convenient.

A couple new beer places opened up recently, one in North Charleston and another in West Ashley.

Southern Seasons in MTP has a great selection of beers and ales ... both domestic and international... and a separate section for beers made in the south.
