Jessica Simpson was a singer? I thought she was an unattractive, stupid, ego-driven she-b*tch with a lousy attitude and no future.

Just think how great this country is to make her a celebrity. If she weren't in LA, she be working at the 7-11 back in Wide Place in the Road, Texas.

I think she was at the height of her career (not to be mean) when her 2003/2004 album hit because I definitely can remember her being a big thing for her music career during that time--she was everywhere. Plus, it might've also been her marriage with Nick Lachey because as far as I can remember, i don't think there were any celebrity couples that had a reality tv show about them and all of a sudden, they're doing it so much today. And then after 2006, after that Daisy Duke thing died out, she was more looked at as a celebrity. Kind of sad, I really enjoyed her music and I love her voice. I remember she was singing "Angels" on Pepsi Smash in 2003 and that seriously gave me the chills.
