yes, I'm sure it's just a huge co-winky-dink that she got engaged to her boyfriend of barely 6 months 2 WEEKS after her ex Nick Lachey announced his own engagement to his girlfriend of 4 years. announcing this now just makes her look so pathetic. it makes you wonder if she pressured her BF to propose (or put up such a stink about Nick's engagement that he felt like he had to propose). now she'll likely be competing w/ Nick and Vanessa to try to put on the better wedding and get to the alter first
of course, it's possible that they are truly in love, but why not wait to propose or at least wait longer before announcing it? doing so now just makes her look sad and petty and will make her the target of rumors
Note to Jess' new fiance - read the writing on the wall. You have so much more information than Nick did - if you dont - dont complain about how this will inevitably conclude. No one to blame but yourself.
