He's home, Marshmallow came home!

Just when I'd given up hope, he came in the backyard. My son found him and coaxed him in.

He's even in great condition, he was obviously kept inside somewhere, his coat is clean, no dirt, a little hungry, but not ravenous, he's a little thinner, but not too much.

Someone took him in, then released him, this is not a cat who's spent the last week in the woods!

Tonight is going way below freezing, to 18 and lower. I was so worried. But he came home! Hurray!

I'll steal your thunder in the thread about his disappearance, so everybody knows

This is some of the best news I've heard all year - seven days in, true, but still...

See, what'd we tell you?

I still can't figure out what happened---he's in perfect condition, except for having lost a few pounds. This is not a cat who's been living in the wild for over a week. Probably he got stuck in a garage or shed somewhere then was released.

He might have found his way home by following his nose. Tonight I cooked some turkey parts for a stew, they were old and smelled horribly! I opened the door to let the smell out, and threw the parts away, he probably followed the scent.

We wlll never know, cats are mysterious creatures.

Whatever, he's home, thank God!

It's about time we had some good news regarding lost cats. I am so very happy about it! Now all we need is for Little Moo to come home.
