My mum has gone on a 2wk cruise with her sisters... a lovely trip!
Anyway... My two cats (which still live at mums) have come to live with me while she is on hols...

George is 20 and isnt too bothered by alot.. But Squeak is the total opposite.. She is absolutly neurotic, so as a result she wont come out from behind the sofa..
Ive tired to bribe her out with food.. no luck..
Im worried that she will do her business there and not in her litter try eeewww!!!!

Any ideas how to get her out..?!

Sure, buy a hamster or small bird and let it run around the house.

She will come out when she's ready so leave her alone. While her routine has changed and that has her upset, she will use the litter box when she has to. Make sure there is food out for her.

How long has Squeak been hiding? We had one who did that and she did do her business back there instead of coming out...she was terrified of the 2 other cats. I got her out by flipping over the couch and just leaving it like that for about a week and putting her own food, water and litter box in the room and shutting the other two cats out....it worked, she is fine now but still doesnt like the two boys (cats) but if they bother her, she just smacks them in the face like a good little lady should when the boys get fresh.
