Is it time now??
I find it quite amazing that a cat can get most anything it wants by looking at you in 'that certain way'.
But maybe I'm too much of a pushover.

You're not the only one. Checkers has perfected that "I'm so cute, you are compelled to give me what I want" look. And Cookie has this one plaintive meow she saves just for begging for food or treats. I'm such a sucker, and they know it.

LOL Nimbus' internal clock is like...an hour fast or something. Either that or he feels like he's got to put an hour's worth of effort into getting each meal. I don't know. But about an hour prior to feeding time, he starts showing up wherever we are, quietly making that high pitched "mmm? Mom? Mrr?" noises at me. When I hear him, and I look over the side of the bed, those pics are exactly what I see. That right there is the Nimbus who, if ignored for about another 5-10 minutes, is gonna start making cat mischiefs in further attempts to secure my cooperation. Attacking my feet, or knocking stuff off random surfaces in the room. This look...it's a warning of things to come...

Thank you guys, you are ever so sweet. When I adopted her, I made the workers at the shelter laugh as they prepared the adoption papers, when I told them "I'm more excited about getting her than I was when I had my kids!!!"

My niece once said 'There are no ugly cats in this world', I think all of us on this forum have to agree
