So I was working on my computer on my huge wooden desk, and I opened the middle drawer to my left, put down a towel, and welcomed my big white kitty Quinn to sit next to me. I went back to working on my computer and the next time I looked down, I realized that my red kitty Einstein (Eini) had joined his big brother. Of course I had to take a photo! They are sweeties!

Col. Snuggledorf, the tuxedo boy we adopted not quite a year ago, is a true Sconnie cat who simply loves cheese, butter, cream, and anything else dairy. My spouse is very fond of cheese as well, and Dorfy has become Spouse's cheese-eating buddy. The Colonel has an unerring ability to tell when the cheese comes out, no matter where he might be in the house, and he makes a beeline to the kitchen to remind his buddy that he'd like some, too, please. I got quite a giggle recently from the sight of the Colonel stretching out to his full length to snag a little snackie from Spouse's hand.
We had driving rain and lightning and thunder today. My outside cat was scared, so I brought her in. Two years ago after we got her spayed we had her inside for two weeks. The other cats hated her, we had fights all the time, the outside cat peed on stuff. It was a big mess. Anyway, my outside cat ended up being an outside cat again. Today I brought her in for a few minutes. She was nervous and squirming. She was also purring, since she was out of the storm, but she was scared of where she was. She might remember the other cats attacking her before.
Anyway, after the storm I let her back out. She was thrilled to be outside, even though everything was wet. I know it would be safer to have her in the house all the time, but she wouldn't be very happy.
Here she is after I let her back out
Rubbing her face on the arm of the chair
On her back
Trying to grab the camera
She would reach out to grab me when I tried to pet her
This is my sweetie Annie, short for Ann Arbor, one of my favorite cities. She was just a baby in this photo, now she is 4 years old. I can't imagine my life without her and her twin Berkeley (another favorite city!).
