look at this adorable baby. when i see things like this I really want a kitten as my guys are 12 years old. then everybody in the family hollers "NOOOO". This is called a Ragdoll Siamese but there is no such breed either one or the other and while Ragdolls have points they are a true breed...just like Siamese. Wonder why this guy (or woman with really ugly hands0 doesn't just let the kitty sleep with him? Then he could have this first thing in the morning while still in bed.

Haha, kitty has his own little bed there ! That cat is a professional purrer ! Love the way it throws in a little meow every so often for good measure.

I've banished my 3 again from my bedroom........they like to chase each other too much at 3 am.

Don

Don ---when they get to be as old (12) and as big (17 lbs) as my guys there isn't as much grabass in the AM hours. But every now and then they scamper up and down the stairs for a good romp and in the evenings they get into "real" fights with fur flying right in front of the TV. Then 10 minutes later they are grooming each other and all lovey dovey. Gotta love our feline housemates!

That's one of the (many) things that fascinates me about cats. They can go from 'I'm going to kill you for looking at me' to 'Allow me to lick tour beautiful ears' in a manner of seconds. I don't think we humans will ever have a clue how their little brains actually work... and I'm not sure I want too.

He must have been an exceptional cat (& quite handsome too). None of my cats allow their wait-staff to take such liberties with their dignity.

Haha, I think so! I remember at 4 and 5 years old, I'd wrap him up in a blanket and rock him in the rocking chair like he was a little baby. My parents adopted him 9 months before I was born and I think he was pretty young when I was born. Mom said he used to sleep in my crib before I was born and nan freaked out because of an old wive's tale about cats sleeping in a crib will take a child's breath away. But, nan's cat that lived from 1987-2005 was just as friendly. I remember cuddling up with him. I would have to scan his younger pictures, but here's a picture from August 2005... he died in December 2005:

Though, I have a few of him from 2004:

I miss both nan and her Woo.

Here is our Woo with me... I guess I was 2 here:

I still have that black and white cat sheet and pillow case. Kleban or something like that. It was very popular motif in the 90's with something red on it at the bottom. I could dig through my linen closet to look for it ---maybe later.

Happy Birthday to you. And thanks for reminding me it is Klibban. Still can't find my pillowcase. Sure hope I didn't get rid of it. It is only 28 years old. I was just breaking it in
