My poor cat (14yrs) has been taking his thyroid pills for about a year.
He was looking better and then all of a sudden this evening he vomited all his dinner and then vomited alot of liquid - water he drank - 2 x this evening. He does get sick from time to time, but this evening was different.
I can hear his tummy gurgling alot too.
Anyone have any suggestions on what to do till I get him to the vet tomorrow?

I am sorry to hear his Cparmelee. When I was a kid, our cat died from a thyroid problem. She was a stray cat that we have saved and she was right around your cat's age.

HOWEVER, we did not know about the thyroid problem until it was too late. We started giving her medicine and my father took her to several different places but it was already in the eleventh hour.

In contrast, you have been treating your cat for almost a year. Hopefully your cat is just sick. Here on City-Data there is a Pet forum you can ask this same question and hopefully you will get more helpful answers.

Hopefully it was just something he ate, since his tummy was "gurgling". That sounds gastrointestinal. I have a 14 year old cat that has been treated for hyperthyroidism for years. Methimazole can cause kidney issues, but the gurgling doesn't point to that. Please let us know how the vet visit goes.
