SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Inmates convicted of violent crimes are among those being freed early from California jails to save money, despite lawmakers' promises that they would exclude most dangerous prisoners and sex offenders. An Associated Press review of inmate data shows that some of the freed criminals were convicted of assault with a deadly weapon, battery, domestic violence, and attacks on children and the elderly.

The Associated Press: AP Enterprise: Calif. freeing some violent inmates

CA residents can now breathe a sigh of relief knowing full well violent pot smokers, and those who tend pot gardens, will never again see the light of day.

Just make them sign a contract of "no violence". When someone makes a promise, they've got to keep it.

Lock up all the pot heads.

Start with the Judges and Lawyers. Take all of their pot away from them bad people druggies and send it to me. I will properly dispose of it for you.

Build special prisons on the beaches for the rest of the potheads.

Include jacuzzi's, pools, and showers and make them all co-ed, clothing optional. You will not need fences or doors, or even cells. They can sleep on the beach and will not wander off as long as the local 7/11 is close enough by for when I (no i mean they) get the munchies.

Make sure that they get and do their free medical marijuana daily and on time. Be sure the pot is very high grade with lots of thc so as to not waste public money on shwag.

This may be a bunch cheaper and way more popular than the way it is set up now (although the courts and prisons may fill up real quick).

Oh yea...Free Patti Hearst.
