How did this thread end up being about Oklahoma??

Either Fresno or Bakersfield?

I'd say Fresno, but then again I'd try to figure a way to live in LA outright.
Bakersfield and Fresno will make you feel just as trapped as Greenville.

Vallejo is #43 this year. One of your other "favorite" mid-sized cities is Omaha which was ranked #150.

Default I Offer My Apologies Bellalunatic..............

Howest2008..........
Because so many 'okies' came out to the 'big valley' California during the
Great Depression and Dust Bowl Era that the two area are tied together
like it or not...and there's a reversal of fortunes where Oklahoma has
come out ahead of the 'once great' big valley.!

Either Fresno or Bakersfield?

Howest2008..............
I choose Fresno CA , but what about Lancaster...Palmdale...Victorville..
now most of the Okie's went to Bakersfield about 95% of them , but my
Great Grand Father traveled from Nowata Oklahoma a suburb of Tulsa
to Fresno CA....and that was in the early 30's....

I'd say Fresno, but then again I'd try to figure a way to live in LA outright.

Howest2008............
I understand what you are trying to say , but Fresno and Bakersfield
could never be like South Carolina , because in Fresno and Bakersfield
(cases) you can drive 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 Hours AND BE IN WORLD CLASS
CITIES..No Disrespect Or Harm Meant....I was born in Nowata OK and
moved to Tulsa OK when I was 2 years old and left OKLAHOMA When I
was 24 yrs I've lived in Long Beach CA.....Alameda CA....Oakland
(forgive me) CA...San Francisco CA.....Vallejo CA and would caution
against FutDoc moving to Los Angeles being that I only lived a few
Miles Away In Long Beach....LIVING IN LOS ANGELES NOT ON A
UNIVERSITY CAMPUS IS A WHOLE NOTHER THING BROTHER.....
enroll in college before you move to Los Angeles CA.....
