Right now, newsom is in office with his rules for thee but not for thee (them) crap policies. He is the worst kind of politician.

So it's fine with you that Trump discussed, in a phone call with Bob Woodward on February 7th, 2020, how deadly COVID is and then, 19 days later, made his, infamous and a**inine '15 down to close to zero' comment ?

Speaking of the devil....I mean Newsom, there's some arcticles who mentionned he didn't do any public appearances since he got a booster shot.

Quote:
SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- A week after abruptly canceling plans to attend the United Nations climate summit in Scotland, California Gov. Gavin Newsom has receded from public view to deal with unspecific family obligations.

When the surprising announcement was made Oct. 29, a spokesperson said Newsom planned to participate virtually in the conference this week. But the California delegation's schedule at the meeting this week, released by the governor's office, did not include Newsom.

Instead, the schedule included in-person appearances by Lt. Gov. Eleni Kounalakis, who Newsom tapped to lead the state delegation in his absence; Sam Aseffa, director of the Governor's Office of Planning and Research; David Hochschild, chair of the California Energy Commission and California Natural Resources Agency Secretary Wade Crowfoot.

After the federal government late Tuesday authorized Pfzier's coronavirus vaccine for emergency use for kids 5 to 11, California implemented what state officials deemed a "robust vaccination program." It's the kind of announcement that Newsom typically makes in-person in front of TV cameras.

But the governor's office announced the plan with an emailed news release. His last public appearance was Oct. 27, when he received a coronavirus booster shot.

From your link: It's a relatively slow time in Sacramento as the state Legislature is not in session and won't meet again until January.

'The governor has a young family and we should all be understanding, especially those of us who have been there,' said Kounalakis, who has two grown sons, at the time.

Democratic state Sen. Bob Hertzberg, who also attended the conference, said he suspected Newsom was very disappointed to not be going. 'He loves this issue, he cares about it a lot,' Hertzberg said. 'It's a big deal to him, and I'm sure he desperately wanted to go.'

The state's prison guard union — a group that donated $1.75 million to Newsom in September's recall election — had argued against the vaccine mandate along with the Newsom administration. Cal Matters reported Wednesday that the Newsom administration has formally moved forward with appealing the judge's order to the Ninth Circuit in an attempt to block the mandate.

Newsom's hostility towards the mandate for prison guards does not align with his previous statements on COVID mitigation efforts, including vaccine mandates.

The governor has also faced criticism for not mandating the COVID-19 vaccine for school staff in addition to children. Teachers unions were also large donors to Newsom's anti-recall campaign.

I'm just curious what is the "science" behind this. Are prison guards less susceptible to the virus than even young schoolchildren?
This is kind of disappointing.

Yes. I think that if the union/Newsom win, it will likely lead to all other mandates falling apart.

Is he still alive? I heard that his 12 year old daughter may have had a medical problem from getting the shot. He got the shot and then went into hiding like Tiffany Dover did( and who hasn't been seen since).
I would wait a while before getting suckered into getting that shot. All hell is about to break loose.

Link? If you scroll back, there's an article stating that she turned 12 in September, and as of mid-October, had another series of shots that she needed to complete first. Never heard of Tiffany Dover.

Also from the link: It's rare, but not unprecedented, for Newsom to go a whole week without some type of appearance. Such absences are usually explained, including when Newsom leaves the state for vacation.

There was a mention of Tiffany Dover in an older thread.
