Same. I haven't been to Costco since this re-started, but TJs is back to making people line up outside. Target, Ralphs? Nope, I just walked right in and it looked like there were as many people shopping as always.

I know of several restaurants in my area that are still serving in-person outdoors without missing a beat. The restaurant my daughter works (worked) at is officially "takeout only," but if you happen to choose to sit down at one of their outdoor tables to eat that takeout, they don't mind at all. The owners and customers are doing fine; it's the servers who are shafted by this arrangement.

There is a growing list of restaurants going to stay open.

I sure wish TJ adopts online shopping and grocery pickup. Or that the otherwise overly controlling government to other entities Mandates them to do so just like they did for retail stores and other businesses. Talk about unequal treatment.

Currently they don’t even allow the gig economy such as Postmates, Instacart, or Shipt, to do it for them. Not that I like the gig economy’s model in anyway in which the government seem to apply a double standard quite a while for them compared to other type of businesses. One can go to Flixbus never again Facebook page to see how much these gig companies get away with hard to believe in today’s climate of consumer rights.
