I haven't had one of you people come knocking in a long time. I miss the free notepads. Calendars and cookies in December are nice too.

Why? Maybe you should show them how tough and principled you are and just refuse to wear one....

There is time to stand up for your principal and there is time you do what you have to do when it comes to $$$.

In the Asian countries, its a mixed bag of lockdowns (in some regions), extensive contact tracing/isolation, but most importantly very high compliance rate for mask wearing. Its more accepted culturally over there. They've been through SARS and know what its like and are more willing to make this sacrifice. They also understand its for the benefit of their own health and the health of others. So yeah, if we did all of the things Asian countries are doing to control the spread, we could open up safely without a strict lockdown.
Nothing I said suggested Floriduh was some model we should emulate. Again with going from one extreme to another....

So more mask wearing and less restrictions/lockdowns? I can live with that.

Sure, so you're open to stronger enforcement of mask wearing?

Sure depending on what you’re talking about. Some of the places around here have ridiculous fines just for a first offense.

Outdoors is where I think it can be tricky. If you aren’t near anyone I see no reason for them.
