has been gone for the past many years

I can easily see where it's coming from. These youngsters are being robbed of their time with friends from ages 13 - 25 and they are just doing it anyway. I see this over and over. Ya'll barking at each other on this board are wasting your time. People still have to work and many are indoors. There are many more ways to catch this than "Not wearing a mask". Skin contact. Reminds me of a dog biting it's own butt because of flees.

Hold parents legally responsible for minors who go out to high-risk gatherings. This attitude of just complaining and urging people to behave isn't solving anything.

Teenagers are the worst. They rarely listen and more often than not, think they know more than their parents. lol I love Mark Twain's idea about raising teens, boys in particular.

Mr. Twain was on the right track.

Just today, friend's daughter literally cut the screen on her window to go sneak out with friends. 16 yr old. Riding my bike saw what was obviously girls not related all doing a video all in a big pile with no masks on. Too young to even care.

And yet somehow forcing everyone else to change our behavior, knowing that those most likely to spread things around will continue to do whatever they want anyway, will somehow make any sort of difference.

There’s no coming back from this now. Newsom is kicking us into the recession everyone expected, that I actually had hope we were avoiding.

People need to regularly check their kids' social media (including the secret accounts they sometimes have).

To get through this, official and unofficial policing are necessary.
