Think for yourself HereInMars, stop swallowing MSM propaganda. OC has had 45 deaths since they began tracking in Early March, far more people have died in OC due to traffic fatalities in the same time period. CoronaVirus has been a dem-panic created with political goals.

He’s not shutting down the economy to save lives, don’t fool yourself.
Obtuse wasn't the precise word I wanted to use. I meant to say callous. I'll stop here. I had another two paragraphs written but decided not to post it so I'll just stop now.

Really? So, how come, with the GOP in control of Senate and White House ... how come they can’t overwhelm with their own political goals?

What a load in the pants.

I believe it. And while there's no doubt that CV is the cause of many of these deaths, they're not all the cause. They do the same thing with Alzheimer's. They label every old person who dies with dementia as having AD. They did it to my mother and she didn't have AD. I don't know why they do it but it's deceptive. Maybe it's about money. Because everything is about money. smh

Add Utah to the list. There was statewide statement that was sort of in the direction of a stay-at home, but it wasn't an order per se. More of a recommendation.

Several tweets went viral on Saturday that falsely accused the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of drastically revising down the number of COVID-19 deaths in the US, inflaming conspiracy theories that the coronavirus is not as serious as officials claim.
As of Saturday, the CDC says more than 64,000 people have died in the US, but the false tweets accused them of quietly cutting that figure in half.

My 90 yr old great aunt died a week or so ago in a Convent nursing home along with 4-5 others. Doctors thought and labeled it as Covid. She was tested, but died before the test results came back. I told my relative to get verification of a positive test so it’s accurate. She had a degenerative brain disease. I do find these stats quite interesting.

YE 4/1/2020 39M-56M flu cases & 24-62k deaths. In YE 2018, similar number of 39-58M cases, but 46-95k deaths. Midway through the first link, it says hospitalizations from the flu for YE 2020 is lowest on record for the flu. More years in second link which really makes me wonder.

I agree. The numbers could be skewed because they're lumping plain old flu in with CV. As more information comes out, it may shed a light on whether the actual numbers are accurate or were simply mixed up with other variations of the flu.

I'm very sorry about your great aunt. She did live a long life, though, didn't she? And bless her for that. At least she doesn't have to endure anymore of this nonsense.

Well that’s not troubling at all.

Thanks Mars. Oh yeah, she had a wonderful life as a nun. Only saw her every 5 or so years when she’d come back to SoCal, family would have lunch with her and the nuns in the mission.
