Would love to help you but have some questions-
What are you going to be doing here?
Where will you work?
What are you looking for?
Do you mean 20-30 minutes from
downtown L.A.? 20-30 minutes from
where exactly?

Well Im going to College over there. Im still reseaching that. My sister lives in Riverside so I dont want to be far from her either. I have a real estate license with California state. So that would be my job.
Im trying to find apartments that except dogs and that are in nice areas.

You had asked 20 to 30 minutes from where? I dont know from where exactly. Its hard to say because I only went to L.A. once my whole life so I dont know much about the different sections in L.A.

I dont know if my answer to your questions can help you, help me...lol...

I was going to suggest Thousand Oaks. It's on the other side of LA from Riverside, but it's a very nice place.

I live in Westlake and love the TO area but if you're single
it might seem too family oriented for you. If I was young
and single I'd live near the beaches (Santa Monica) or just
south of Ventura Blvd in Sherman Oaks. But of cours those
are areas I'm familiar with. I'm sure there are a ton of
great areas I don't know about. If we knew what schools
you were considering it might help to narrow down the choices.

They don't.

The forum needs more specific information: Budget, locations, etc. Otherwise people will start to tell you what you want to hear. Doesn't help much.

How big is your dog? That could be a real problem finding an apt that will accept pets. If it's large, you'd be better off finding a house. You'd best figure out where you're going to college, and move accordingly. That will narrow it down.
