Come to think of it, Derek, didn't I once post some photos of scenes across my island? Sailboats in the bay and some country roads? It's coming back to me now. I must have one of those accounts and used it once and then forgotten. I almost never take photos, unlike yourself. I rely on family members to keep the memories. But I really should take more pics myself because much of the time I travel alone -- and I see a lot of great snapshot moments.

Yeah, all those beautiful places you travel and stay in. I'd love to see a few shots. Maybe you did post something a while back? Was it on the WA boards or maybe a trip to CA or HI?

Derek

I gotta give it up for tonight now ... but I did just check and found i have a Picassa account ... it only had a few pics of family in it so that's not the one I seem to remember using for putting pictures up on the forum. I think I had another. Anyway, I just put a picture of the van interior in the Picassa and see it there. I haven't re-learned how to upload that to the forum in a post. I'll try to refresh myself on that in the next couple days.

Seem to recall you commenting back on photos from the island ... so it musta been I posted to the California forum.

Also need to make an affirmation or some new age trick to start taking pictures ...

Turkey is GREAT ... a dietary mainstay of mine ... though definitely secondary to fish.

So the guy across the street sends his wife and daughter up the ladder to adjust the antenna?

We bought our 1978 American Clipper in 1983 for $9500. I see them in ads for sale, sometimes from $1500 on up. She's been a great motorhome to boonie camp in.

Google look HERE for some that are for sale.

Only on clear days.

Wait a minute. All our days here are clear, even when they're overcast. You still canm't see the air before you breathe it in.

Secondary to fish for us as well

Smart enough size ... though not really agile ... problem with all rv's is, well, they look like rv's ... the cops know you are in there at night ... means you gotta stick with campgrounds and forest service roads ...

Converting a regular work or family van allows one to stealth camp anyplace.
