In an annual survey, executives ranked California as the worst place to do business for the eighth year in a row...

Last year, 254 California companies moved some or all of their work and jobs elsewhere -- 26% more than 2010. Most chief executives in Silicon Valley said they won't expand in the state, according to the survey.

Nothing at all wrong. Keep doing what you're doing. People don't need jobs, only great weather.

Gotta be some sort of record. How many years in a row in last place now?

Let's hold a celebration, something California does consistently well.

What I won't do is the conservative thing and attack the poster and/or their source.

What I will do is mention that many companies headquartered in other states still somehow overcame their "fear" of doing business here. Best Buy, Wal Mart, Target, Nordstroms, Starbucks, Tully's, Bed Bath And Beyond and Costco are all businesses that are headquartered elsewhere but still do business here. It's obviously worked for them so for those who wish not too...

Well none of them make anything. They just sell stuff, most of it made in China, not California or even the US.

Yes they're mostly big box stores. However, they did not start out like that. They got to the point where they are due to taking advantage of what's out there rather than shying away from it.
