Something stinky is wafting over the horizon and it looks like California & Oregon will become the usa's built in "carbon filters".

How much radiation will have to be reported in your area before you evacuate? Do you trust reports from the government? I'm glad I'm not in California anymore - those putrid stinkclouds will cause a real mess.

Even if the situation in Japan gets worse, the Pacific is too big and vast for deadly radiation to cross over, it's harmless by the time it hits the West Coast. If there was radiation bad enough to kill or seriously harm on the West Coast coming from Japan than that would pretty much mean everyone on Honshu would be dead because the radiation levels would be so unrealistically massive. That's just not happening unless you drop a bomb, but even if it did, word of that would get around quick and give people plenty of warning wouldn't it.

Radiation doesn't kill you immediately. In 15 - 20 years you develop cancer.

Nice one, League. lol

Now the seawater is 2000 times normal in radiation. The Pacific currents bring water from Japan in less than a week to California! http://www.charitybottle.com/blog/wp...ne-300x217.jpg

There's a real witches brew heating up over the horizon. And for some reason this rank stench has a nose for california. Hope everyone keeps a full gas tank for the next few weeks, because once this thing breaks loose California is doomed. Systemic collapse and civil chaos. Hope your go bag is ready.

When Japanese plant workers are fleeing the plants, and each day the news gets more dire, the leaks become more severe, temperatures higher along with Geiger counter readings. . .where do some of you get your optimism? If you're waiting, you'll be too late. Fill up the gas tank now and prepare a go bag. Remember, when the full fallout is officially announced, it's probably already within hours of the west coast.

No need..... If someone wants to check the level themselves, then go out and by a Geiger counter.

geiger counters don't detect plutonium which is THE worst radiation hazard to human beings, is also what fukushima is emitting and sending towards california. NO ONE knows exactly how much or what kind of radiation people in the west coast are being exposed to. This is a very scary time for all of you right now and I'm hoping for the best.

Stay indoors as much as possible and don't eat fresh veggies or drink milk.

Does anyone know of a top knotch truly independent scientific organization (or individual)) that has no (none, zip, zero!) affiliation with government?
I'd like to be able to access highly objective information about this issue.
