Meg Whitman breaks US campaign spending records | 89.3 KPCC

I actually thought the photo was of Ben Franklin ! LOL
She is trying to lie and buy your votes. She knows NOTHING
about running a state government.

I suppose. It's certainly a unique nickname for sure.

Both of these candidates royally suck. But at least Whitman has some coherent description of a plan.

It's clear by now that Brown is just a one-dimensional union shill. The man honestly has no ideas and no plan. His pledge to reveal his means to tackle the deficit only after he's elected is not an acceptable means to describe his plan to trim the deficit.

How is she buying votes exactly? I don't recall receiving my bribe in the mail.

I didn't think so.
Perhaps because we're too busy talking about things that are actually relevant.

The trend across the country has been for voters to go with the devils they don't know. How else can you explain empty suit Carly Fiorina being in a dead heat with Bimbo Boxer despite Boxer's 12-1 cash advantage? Or wing-nut lunatic Sharon Angle in NV keeping pace with the Senate Majority leader Harry Reid?

People just seem willing to try something different just for the sake of it this year.

Brown will be bad for Ca. but Whitman IMO will likely be worse. Sometimes though, you have to wonder, is no experience better than a lot of experience? At least with Brown, more can be blamed on him as he's likely to know exactly what it is he's screwing up where as Whitman won't have a clue.
and shock to you might be, the govenor I am supporting is also a Democrat...Of course this has nothing to do with this thread, just thought I would throw that in.

Default This is not reality

She's paying the pollsters too. The masses will turn out in the more progressive heavy population centers on the coast, and send this idiot back in hiding.

Dream on, clueless Pubs!

A recurring problem with polling is that many of the pollsters use land lines, increasingly the province of older conservative voters. Many younger progressive voters don't use land lines.

So polling using landlines is skewed toward conservative.
