I live in Colorado and would like to try somewhere else. I have always wanted to live by the ocean that has boardwalks & peirs in a large town (or small city). I love summer and being warm, not a huge fan of the snow (and Co has some nasty winters).

I am not looking to go to school, just work. I dont have anything in particular I want to do for work right now, I have done many different things so I would figure that out later.. Right now I am just hoping to get some ideas of the towns and cities in California (preferabbly on the north coast) for something that might fit what Im looking for.

Thanks for any ideas/suggestions!

Try Santa Cruz. It has a boardwalk and a pier. Also, nearby Capitola is nice and has a pier. Bring lots of money. Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk - Millions of Memories at California's Beachfront Amusement Park

Sounds like your perfect fit is Redondo Beach, CA. It boast an infamous pier and great beaches. It's nice and warm most of the year and it's pretty nice. You just need to have a car. Santa Cruz is nice too.
