I am looking at office phone systems for 4 lines and a credit card processing machine for the business... I notice that some office phone systems are now cloud-based which runs around $80/month for two voicemail systems and I assume it would eliminate the analog phone connection... my problem is how a lot of these systems force a manual entry of credit cards rather than just "swiping" it... What are your experiences? Do you have any advice on which credit card vendor to use? The ones I see say about 1.8% + 0.15 for each transaction + 3.00 statement fee for credit card transactions... should I go with the cloud-based or server-based phone systems... if I have multiple offices around town, can I use the cloud-base but tie all the offices to a central phone line? Anyone know? What phone system success have you had and its monthly cost?
