Hi Everyone!

My husband and I are REALLY wanting to move to Longmont CO (or a surrounding area close by.) in April or May!!! We are planning on taking a couple of trips there to look around & hunt for jobs & a place to rent. I'm just wanting to know which part's of Longmont to stay away from. As we will be settling in & raising a family someday. We want a safe, Family Friendly area. With great schools. But in a reasonable realestate area.

HOWEVER,....Before we can move, we need to find him a job!! He's a Network Administrator. (+windows ect.) Any advice there will help extremly!!

How's the job market right now anyways?

Thanks in advance!

Here's a good representation of the Longmont job market:

First off, there is so much info already in here regarding Longmont, schools, etc. A search will get you a lot of info. Also the IT job market discussed as well.

I would not recommend coming out unless you have a job lined up. I can't tell you the number of friends who work in IT right now, who are out of work and looking for a job.
