I'm looking to have a small family reunion next summer, where about a dozen or two dozen people would be need some kind of lodging. I'm hoping to find somewhere near Boulder where everyone could stay at the same place and there is some accommodation for family style gatherings - i.e. not just a motel room but rooms or places outdoors people could "hang out". I've thought of renting a B&B, but I'm seeing rates around $150 per night per room, and that isn't in the budget. Any suggestions?

Yes, Chautauqua offers spectacular scenery, lots to do and charming facilities for family events like reunions. You can choose between the Mission House, a few other buildings, and there are various cottages as well for rent. The Colorado Chautauqua Association - A National Historic Landmark

Thanks! The only problem seems to be that half the place shuts down in mid-August and you have to look at every rental to figure out what is still open. If we can move the date to before the closing date, it might work. It definitely has the right feel to it.
